I have been gone way too long!!

It has been over a year since I updated my blog, hopefully somebody will still look at it LOL! Keith bought me Dragon speak 12 as one of my Christmas presents so it should be a little easier for me to update... That is my hope anyways!!
A brief update about us Emerson is in grade 2 and enjoying it tremendously she's doing quite well. I am just chugging along on doing what I can.
In the coming weeks I will be updating this to catch you up on last year :-)

Halloween 2012

Emmy had fun trick or Treating despite the snow we had. The road was very uneven so I stayed home as my balance sucks and Keith took our little fairy Emmy around the block.

We had a beautiful Fall, then this happened...

Emmy started school again on Wednesday, September 6, 2012. She was placed into Mrs. Sheerer's class who gets high marks from my co-worker whose son had her. Emmy is SO proud to be in Grade one, and is learning lots already.  Her best- friend Kimmie is not on her class sadly but they see each other on the playground, Her reading has skyrocketed over the summer, and her teacher has already  tested her and passed her on to level 2 on the Dolch sight words-on Friday. I reviewed those with her when we got home and again she had zero hesitation on any words. So I have no qualms she is doing well and moving along well. She was the only child to progress to level 2 which makes me so proud!

Prince George Exhibition 2012

On Sunday August 18, 2012 we went to the PG-X, which is the annual farm fair we take Em to each year. It was a gorgeous day out which meant I was a lobster my the time we left, despite the sunscreen applied LOL. It was a good family day which was my priority. We even ran into Emmy's friend Maya who she plays with when Maya visits her Grandma who lives next door.
