I told some friends right away. I needed the support in case things went haywire. Everyone was so supportive.
I told my Sister-in-Law and Brother pretty much right away as well, and they were excited. :-)
I told my Mom that I was pregnant online while chatting. We have not had the best relationship at times, but I was happy to share the news.
She chose to tell me every story of miscarriage that had happened in every person that she knew, whether related to us or not. Later on, she chose to tell my Sister-In-Law that I was "going to miscarry the baby anyways and not to get excited about it."
Nice. Thanks for the support, Mom.
